Spring Sparkle

The Reidsville Junior Service League will celebrate 75 years of service to the community with the Spring Sparkle on March 19, 2011. This black tie optional event will not only commemorate the League’s diamond anniversary, but will also benefit Rockingham County Schools' Cultural Arts Programs.

The Spring Sparkle will include a silent auction, live music, entertainment from Cultural Arts students, heavy hors d’oeuvres, as well as cocktails. During the event there will be a silent auction and a raffle of a William Mangum framed painting. Tickets are fifty dollars and can be purchased by a current league member, by mail or through the Reidsville Junior Service League website, www.reidsvillejsl.org .

Sponsorship levels for those wishing to donate to the Rockingham County Schools' Cultural Arts Programs are as follows:
      $250 Sapphire Sponsor (includes 2 tickets)
      $500 Emerald Sponsor (includes 4 ticekts)
      $1000 Diamond Sponsor (includes 8 tickets and a reserved table at the event)

The Reidsville Junior Service League has enjoyed a close relationship with Rockingham County Schools throughout the League’s history. Each year the League supports the school system by assisting with hearing and vision screenings, assemblies for Reidsville area students, donating media funds, and granting individual requests from teachers and students for supplies, resources, and support. Current members and sustainers felt that having proceeds from this event benefit Rockingham County Schools' Cultural Arts Programs was the perfect way to honor the League’s 75th anniversary.
